Stork PetNat Chardonnay

Origin: Aragatsotn Region, Armenia
Wine Style: Pétillant Naturel (Pét-Nat)
Vinification: Produced from the first yield of Chardonnay grapes planted in Stork vineyards in Aragatsotn. The grapes were hand-picked, carefully sorted, and directly pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. The wine was bottled mid-fermentation with approximately 15 g/L residual sugar, allowing the fermentation to finish naturally inside the bottle until complete dryness. The wine spent 3 months on lees before being disgorged using the traditional à la volée method.
Wine Description
A lively and expressive pét-nat with a bright medium lemon hue and delicate natural bubbles. The nose opens with ripe golden apples, pear, citrus zest, and subtle flinty notes, layered with gentle yeasty aromas of fresh dough and biscuit. On the palate, vibrant acidity and a soft mousse create a refreshing and textured style, while flavours of orchard fruits, citrus, and light pastry notes carry through to a clean, persistent finish. Fresh, energetic, and approachable, this wine is crafted for immediate enjoyment.
